About Me:

Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it instead drives an engineer’s strive to learn and grow. I am one such engineer, who loves to work on exciting problems and thrives in an environment that promotes a growth mindset.

Owing to my 3+ years of experience at Citrix, I specialize in frictionless delivery of software to the cloud, leveraging state-of-the-art configuration and orchestration technologies. I have had the pleasure of working with cloud evangelists and architects, with the common goal of building, deploying, and maintaining scalable backends. I’ve also had the opportunity to work as an Android and .NET developer in previous internship opportunities. It has been an exciting journey to have seen all the iterations of a software life cycle, from ideation and development to lightning-fast delivery and of course the nail-biting race against time fixing cloud outages pre-emptively caught by alerting synthetics.

My experience in the industry has led me to believe that Software Development is as much, if not more about the people making the magic happen than just the time spent converting ideas into code. Amazing software is built by synergistic teams and not just brilliant individuals and I aspire to be a part of such teams in my academic and professional engagements.

At Northeastern, I plan to delve deeper into areas like Scalable Distributed Systems, Mobile Development, and NLP. The first principle thinking that an academic culture promotes has drawn me to this journey back to school and I am sure it will help me become a better engineer.
